MESSAGEmanager Voice
Mail is an expandable and affordable Voice Mail solution
based on VoiceXML, Microsoft SQL and media processing
resources from Intel and Cantata.
MESSAGEmanager is based
on VoiceXML; a web based standard markup language for
voice applications based on XML. This platform enables
MESSAGEmanager to support virtually any telephony requirement
and to be easily customised without having to rely on
proprietary scripts and special mail boxes.
Features:
- Flexible Auto Attendant
designed in VoiceXML/JavaScript to be easily customised
to suit any requirements.
- Default Auto Attendant
provides up to nine options to direct callers to groups
or extensions.
- Subscriber details
are stored in Microsoft SQL Database.
- Subscribers can set
up to 5 customisable Greetings
- Group messages can
be delivered to all group members or on a first to
retrieve basis.
- Management Tools available
as Microsoft Management Console (MMC) and/or .NET
enabled Web Management Tools.
- Reports provide details
of voice channel and mailbox usage.
- Notification of voice
mail arrival by Message Waiting Indicator (MWI), email
or, when subscribers are away from their desk, an
SMS message.
Telephony Integration
MESSAGEmanager integrates
with SIP or H.323 compliant IP switches and PBX's and
TDM PBX systems including NEC, Alcatel, Fujitsu, Ericsson,
Nortel, Avaya, Samsung, Siemens, LG Aria & Panasonic.

Standard Building
Blocks
MESSAGEmanager operates
on standard Intel Pentium as a Windows service with
no access to the Windows desktop. Media Processing resources
from Intel Dialogic and/or Brooktrout provide the Telephony
resources. The industry standard database, Microsoft
SQL, Desktop Edition or Express are used as the message
store.
